Sam Houston Park

Several skyscrapers surround the park. While roaming around the park, you can take a closer look at several old houses and cottages. The park is home to the oldest brick home in Houston. If you want to take a look at it, visit Kellum-Noble House. This house was built in 1847 by Nathaniel Kellum but in 1950 Noble family bought it. Pillot House is another notable structure in the park. It was built in 1868 and features Victorian style of architecture. It became property of Heritage Society in 1964. Lake Houston Park
This lush green park is a reservoir. It is the primary source of water for the city which makes it the most important park in Houston. The charming park is located at the meeting point of East Fork of San Jacinto River and Caney Creek River.
